Why growers choose Envelor coir
Cheap commercial soil products destroy ecosystems and release carbon. Coconut coir is a renewable by-product that holds water, breathes well and breaks down harmlessly when you're done with it.
A sustainable peat alternative
Made from purely biodegradable coconut husk, our coir can be reused for up to two years and disposed of without harming the environment.
- Renewable
- Biodegradable
Moisture, aeration & drainage
Coir holds moisture for longer, so plants grown in our potting media need 30 to 40 percent less water, while chips and blends keep air moving around the roots.
- Water retention
- Root aeration
Bulk supply, built to scale
Our infrastructure handles large-volume production, with warehouses across the U.S. From a few pallets to full containers, in custom sizes and retail-ready packing.

Clean, low-EC coir from freshwater coconuts
Coastal coconuts naturally carry more mineral salts. Our plantations grow some of the world's best-graded freshwater coconuts, and every batch is processed for the right pH, moisture and nutrient balance.
Triple washed
Coir media is washed three times to bring salts down before it is compressed.
Buffered for growers
Buffering replaces sodium and magnesium with calcium and potassium, adjusting the cation exchange capacity for healthier uptake.
Stringent quality control
We oversee every step of production, from sourcing husks with local farmers to manufacturing and our U.S. warehouses.
