About this product
Coco Coir Grow Mats
Coir grow mats are made of tightly woven coconut fibers and are well known for growing microgreens, herbs, grass and micro herbs, and as a base for grow trays. They come in several sizes that fit 10 x 20 in and other standard trays.
Growers also use them as a tray base for ground cover plugs. Roots grow through the mats easily, and plants can be grown directly on the mat or on a layer of growing media spread on top. The mats give better aeration and healthy root development.
