About this product
Coco Coir Husk Chips
Coco coir husk chips are an organic, natural mulch made from the outer shell of the coconut, the husk. They are a highly sustainable alternative to other mulches: the durable fiber chips stand up to bad weather and break down at a slower, more even rate than bark chips.
The chips absorb water and release it slowly over time, while the chunky cut keeps air and water moving through the root zone. They are ideal for soilless plants like orchids and for landscaping mulch, and are commonly mixed with coir growing medium to add aeration.
