About this product

Coir Fiber Logs

Coir logs are made of interwoven coconut fibers bound together with biodegradable netting, and are usually installed along natural contours in high-erosion areas. They come in a range of lengths and diameters and are widely used on streambanks, in wetlands and on uplands.

They give the site immediate physical protection while vegetation establishes and natural protection takes over. As the log decays it becomes a natural substrate for plant growth, protecting native and newly installed plants next to it. Coir fiber logs are 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
